Amazon seeks a Technical Program Manager for its Finance Operations Technology team. This position will drive Accounts Payable technical projects in Latin and South America to ensure that we can quickly and accurately make payments for Amazon. Come help build our next generation of payment systems that support all of our businesses--Retail, Kindle, AWS, Fire TV, and more!

The ideal candidate will draw upon exemplary analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, good software development experience, and a passion for working with business owners and end users to build highly reliable and scalable applications that are accessed by thousands of external vendors and internal customers. As a TPM you are expected to collaborate effectively with internal customers and other dependent development teams across Amazon to successfully drive the development of new applications against high operational standards of system availability and reliability.


Requisitos

- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- 5+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry, including managing complex projects across multiple, globally dispersed work teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or 4+ years equivalent technical work experience.
- Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related financial field, or 2+ years of equivalent work experience
- Experienced in leading Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) and/or ERP package implementation
- Experience developing internet products and technologies
- Experience with and understanding of SDLC, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize tasks
- The ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and to work with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Results oriented person with a strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with global teams


Preferred Qualifications

- Fluent in Spanish
- Masters in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Industry experience at a multinational organization a plus
- Six Sigma and/or project management certification (Prince, PMP or equivalent) is preferred
- Prior experience with high-scale or high-availability systems
- Understanding of ERP systems’ (such as Oracle, SAP) standard Procure-to-Pay business process
