Responsabilidades da Oportunidade

The SAP Deployment Manager is responsible for the End-to-End execution of highly complex projects for Cargill Business Units and will ensure the delivery of new capabilities and realization of identified business value as defined within the project business case. The SAP Deployment Manager is an empowered leader who will drive results utilizing sound project management techniques, influencing skills, and strong Business Partnering skills to drive results, leverage resources, proactively identify/resolve problems, and deliver solutions. This position is responsible for program management for a business unit(s) deployment including integration of activities, end to end project execution, and adherence to governance processes. This position addresses escalated issues and implements proactive mitigation plans to achieve a successful implementation.

Principal Accountabilities

Project Management and Leadership

• Integrate people and other resources to carry out the project plan, managing to the appropriate budget allocation;

• Actively participate with the Business Unit in deployment planning activities and provide Project’s objectives and scope timelines and requirements;

• Accountable for the Project Management Plan, which includes areas such as a business case, work plan, schedule, budget, resource plan, communication plan, change plan, and risk plan.

• Assess critical path and impacts of moving milestones and dependencies in order to meet critical milestones;

• Identify variances from the plan, determine alternatives and implement the preferred/approved recommendation;

• Ensure project change requests go through the appropriate process with input from necessary decision makers;

• Contain and resolve issues that do not require project sponsor involvement;

• Review and provide feedback on the project scope and objectives;

• Reinforce project direction and vision to resources throughout the project lifecycle;

• Escalate risks and issues as appropriate;

• Ensure that contingency plans minimize risk;

• Ensure utilization of repeatable deployment methodologies and approaches where appropriate and with a “fit for purpose” lens;

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with business unit leadership (and other stakeholder groups as necessary) to foster relationships and move forward through the change journey;

• Ensure execution of the stakeholder management plan for wave business’ stakeholder groups for a successful implementation;

• Leads the Gate Review process with BU and & SAP Regional Leadership;

• Bring BU leaders and stakeholders along on the change journey at the appropriate pace to ensure successful execution of the change plan.

Project Control

• Regularly measure and monitor project progress to identify variances from the plan and make any needed corrections. Contain and resolve issues within the program that do not require sponsor attention.


Requisitos

• Fluent in Spanish and English

• BA/BS preferably in engineering, business or computer science;

• Business experience;

• Project management experience in SAP projects;

• Experience managing large, highly complex, multi-process area projects;

• Experience in negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder management.

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels of the organization and cross-function/platform;

• In-depth understanding of Project Management Methodology, PM Tools and processes, SAP methodology;

• Demonstrated understanding of project principles; including planning, cost, quality, schedule, gated process and critical path management;

• Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous environments;

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve problems;

• Demonstrated ability to drive for results in a dynamic setting;

• Proven experience with being very detail orientated and the ability to move from broad to specific as required;

• Relationship building at all levels and cross-function/platform.
