Job Purpose: The Stores HR Manager will be responsible for all employee related policies, practices and guidance for an established geographical region of Forever 21’s retail employee and manager population. This role will directly support Regional Managers to ensure adherence to local and national labor legislation. The incumbent will provide input in and will execute the overall people strategy as outlined by the Region Manager with regards to Performance Management, Succession Planning and Employee Development. As a resource, this role will provide data analysis regarding, turnover, succession planning, employee complaints, management guidance and the execution of discipline and terminations. This role can directly supervise up to 3 Stores HR Associates.

Deliverables:
Track, record, analyze and assess key performance metric data for their established geographical location
Partner with Regional Managers to review, manage and optimize team performance through Performance Management, Succession Planning and Employee Development
Advise Stores HR Associates on the legal and Forever 21 policy implications of execution of their workload
Guide Associates with on the most appropriate means and methods of mediation between line management and employees
Compile Stores HR team activity performance data and produce reports for the Sr. Manager, Stores HR
Provide detailed hands-on assistance to Stores HR Associates in the case of sexual harassment, discrimination or similarly high sensitivity cases
Develop Stores HR Associates to generate recommendations regarding employee investigations, next steps and level of disciplinary actions
Directly process complaints for the highest profile or sensitive cases including those involving District Managers and above
Act as the second level escalation point for District Managers and Store Managers concerning high sensitivity HR guidance cases
Provide proactive and corrective on-the-ground Performance Management, Succession Planning and Employee Development training to Regional Managers, District Managers and Store Management. Deliver training on a quarterly basis for Regional Managers, District Managers and Store Management, as needed.


Requisitos

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources is preferred. PHR Preferred.
A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience, preferably in retail or an industry with large non-exempt populations. At least 3-4 years in the role of an HR generalist or Employee Relations specialist. Experience in data analysis to formulate a hypothesis, recommendations or resolve workplaces topics that impact employee engagement, retention, turnover and or morale. Subject matter expert level understanding of all appropriate state and federal labor employment laws, international a plus. Experience in process improvement or project management, a plus
Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, specifically formulas and PowerPoint
