We are currently seeking a PR Associate to help support the communications team at Twitter, based in the company’s São Paulo office in Brazil. You will work closely with our Head of Latin America Communications, based in São Paulo, Brazil.

As our ideal candidate, you should be hard-working, proactive, and have an understanding of the communications industry and the basics of PR.
% of your time will be spent assisting with the day-to-day coordination of agencies in Spanish-speaking Latin America and 30% building media relationships and supporting communications programs executed throughout Brazil.

You should have a love of consumer technology and strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. You should also feel comfortable reading, writing and speaking in Portuguese and English. Spanish-language proficiency is a plus.

Work with Twitter’s Latin America communications team to support PR efforts such as media relations campaigns, speaking programs, and media monitoring
Build network of relationships with relevant media
Develop understanding of Twitter’s product and business
Liaise with others on communications team and local agencies in Brazil and Spanish-speaking Latin America to support multiple initiatives happening simultaneously in different countries
Identify relevant speaking opportunities, manage incoming requests, and support speakers public events across the region
Assist with day-to-day coordination and reporting of PR agencies in Spanish-speaking Latin America

4-6 years experience in PR either in-house or at an agency
Strong organizational and project management skills
Willingness to work hard and learn through doing
Communication skills that make working with remote colleagues efficient and effective
Strong writing and editing skills
Ability to be flexible and to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
Ability to work independently and proactively to develop / execute on programs and achieve measurable results
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
